PEOPLES EMPOWERMENT FOR SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

The Peoples Empowerment for Sustainability Project (PESP) is being implemented by ADS – Nyanza with the funding from Bread for the World. PESP aims at building People’s capacity to take charge of their livelihoods in the following areas
• Health component interventions aim at building the capacity of Community members to constructively engage the duty bearers at all levels to enable them claim their entitlement (Advocacy).
• Economic Empowerment Component has adopted Saving with Education model for this project. Saving with Education model is a strategy that ensures financial inclusion for the rural poor who due to stringent procedures/requirements have been locked out of the financial services.
• The project empowers the community by imparting them with good Agronomic practices
