Global Fund

What we do

The Global Fund is a collaborative initiative aimed at hastening the eradication of HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis (TB), and malaria as global epidemics. Since its inception in 2002, the Global Fund has allocated over US$60.4 billion to combat HIV, TB, malaria, and COVID-19, as well as to bolster health systems in more than 120 countries .

Global Fund has partnered with ADS Nyanza to contribute to its goal of reducing new HIV infections by 75%, reduction of AIDS-related mortality by 50%, and HIV-related stigma and discrimination to less than 25%.Our program specifically targets vulnerable populations, such as fisherfolk, discordant couples, PMTCT mothers, ART defaulters, and men in high-risk settings. Through combination prevention strategies, we provide comprehensive support and tailored interventions with the aim of creating a significant and sustainable impact on reducing HIV transmission and improving the lives of those affected by the virus.
